Personalised Programmes

For golfers that want more structure and on-going support

About the Programmes

These programmes have been designed to offer support, accountability and structure to golfers that are committed to improving.

We will agree upon the ideal number of monthly lessons for you, lock them into your diary and take it month by month. Between these lessons, you will be able to attend Supervised Practice sessions which are held at the same time each week.

Included in your programme is a stat service where you are guided through tracking specific stats and simply sending them in to me. I do the rest!

Finally, you will have a clear understanding of what you need to practice and how. This is where everything gels together and where (in my opinion) most golfers fall short, usually through lack of education and support.

After starting to play golf again after a long hiatus lasting seven or so years, I knew my swing needed tweaking. I explained to Matt that I had developed a bad slice, especially with drivers. The whole lesson was centred around my concern. After only a few minutes Matt could see exactly where I was going wrong with my swing and clearly explained and demonstrated the corrections required. After implementing the corrections to my swing I noticed improvements instantly, the main ones being the ball striking the centre of the club face, no more slice and less effort to generate more ball speed. Once the session had completed, Matt had placed me onto an app called CoachNow. This allows any videos and messages to be shared between coach and client between lessons. I like this as any questions can be answered and progress can be shared, meaning that there is still a connection even outside of lessons. From beginner to seasoned golfer. Or someone like myself who has just started up recently again, I would highly recommend Matt to be the coach to go for. It makes a massive difference being coached by someone who clearly loves what they’re doing and wants to get the best out of their clients. So if you’re still thinking about it, go for a lesson already!

Hi Matt really enjoyed the lesson . All I have to do now is put it into practice . Technology really helped , but it would mean nothing without your coaching and advice. Thanks again

I have had a series of lessons with Matt now and he has been a great coach with good delivery and lots of technical knowledge. I came to him lacking confident in my irons, and within 1 session he identified the problem and adapted my swing in order to fix this. His teaching points were not generic, but relevant to me and the way I swing and hit the ball. Much more helpful than the YouTube videos I’ve been watching… 🤣 Looking forward to our future sessions and developing further parts of my game.

Supervised practice

Players who commit to a programme are invited to a relaxed practice group that happens every Tuesday evening between 5:30 – 6:30.

It is a drop in & drop out session designed to be a motivator for clients to commit to at least one practice each week, even if it’s only 25 minutes.

Ability levels mean nothing during this time, because it is more about each individual doing their own work whilst I am in attendance to support and answer questions.

Range balls are included during range practices, as well as music when possible and at other times I might set tasks to try and complete.

The stats service

The stats service is a key part of your programme.

It helps us determine the focusses for our lesson time and can provide valuable information such as your progress and identifying any other strengths or weaknesses.

Without tracking stats we can become transfixed on certain improvements at times, with any real understanding of whether your game is suffering, or if you are just unhappy with a particular aspect (ie your expectations!)

You simply need to track some basic stats on a spare scorecard whilst playing, the send me a picture of your scorecard. You do not need to log these stats anywhere or sit down filling in a spreadsheet. I can do that.

Structure

More consistency in your training and learning

Accountability

I will continue to push and encourage you

Support

Support outside of lesson times is unlimited and encouraged

Practice

Understand exactly how to practice for success

Social

Meet likeminded others also on my programmes

Results

A process in place with a roadmap to your goals

Unlimited support

You will have full access to support outside of your lesson time, which I encourage players to utilise!

I never want you feeling like you have to wait for the next lesson to ask a question, or check you’ve understood something correctly. Instead I would rather you simply message me directly or on the coaching app and include me in your challenges.

Players that take full advantage of the service send in swing videos to check they are completing the drills correctly. This often highlights a few tweaks which can make the practice time that bit more effective next time.
